Uganda is renowned for its rich biodiversity, particularly its rainforests, which play a crucial role in conversation efforts aimed at protecting endangered species such as the Mountain Gorillas, Chimps and Monkeys. The Country is home to some of Africa's most significant rainforests including; Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park which provide vital habitats for these Primates.

Uganda has effectively leverage eco-tourism to fund conservation activities. Gorilla trekking, which allows tourists to observe Mountain Gorillas their communicationsand behaviours, generates significant revenue that is reinvested into the local communities. This model not only supports wildlife preservation but also promotes community involvement and stewardship of natural resources.
